Mane Roch enjoys a peaceful location amid rolling countryside with winding lanes and sleepy villages , whilst being only 30 minutes drive from the south coast, and less than an hour from the north coast. It is ideal for walking, cycling, fishing, painting and drawing, and photography. There is a golf course 25 minutes away, and the wonderful restaurants are too numerous to mention.
There are numerous interesting places to visit within a half hours drive, visit Le Faouet market hall, Les Rochers Du Diable (white water kayaking), the pretty Vallee-du-Scorff is ideal for walking or having a picnic, the Lac de Guerladan (boating from a tree-shaded beach) and the challanging tree tops assault course in Carhaix. There are several beaches with swimming within a 10 minute drive at the lakes of Plouray, Priziac and Glomel, and a walk or cycle along the Brest - Nantes canal is a must.
Mane Roch is a 10 minute walk from the hamlet of Locuan with its pretty church, hidden shrine and local bar, and 3 km from the village of Ploerdut which offers bars and boulangeries. The towns of Guemene-sur-Scorff and Rostrenen are 10 minutes away by car with a wider range of shops and restaurants and markets.
The pleasant and comfortable accommodation at Mane Roch has many original features. It comprises an entrance hallway leading to a spacious lounge/dining room with a massive breton stone fireplace, (complete with woodburning stove for cosy winter lets) stone walls and original beams. There is a television (english TV) and DVD and CD player.
There is a large fully fitted dining kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and electric oven and hob.
A staircase leads to a mezzanine floor with sloping beamed ceilings a large double bedroom with super king size bed, and cot. The bathroom has a vanity unit, WC and bath. The second bedroom is tasetfully furnished with 2 single beds.
The gardens are mostly lawn with a patio with garden furniture and barbeque and summer house. 2 bicycles are also available.
After 2.pm. Most arrival days can be accommodated for low season but change over during high season is Saturday.
Monthly lets would be responsible for their own utility bills and tax. Weekly lets a deposit of £75 is required 4 weeks prior to holdiay. For monthly lets a deposit of £350 is reqired. Minimum stay requirement is one week.
