| I stayed at the Big bear home ( sweet leaf) in August with a friend and found it perfect. The house was immaculate Kitchen well equipped ( we grilled amazing steaks) and the beds VERY good . The neighborhood was dead silent and the weather to our liking ( cool). Big bear in general fit the bill perfectly. Exiting los angeles and the rat race was much needed. I left the big bear weekend refreshed and happy . Oh yeah i must not forget the perfect little japanese garden that the owner must take tremendous pride in. Over all i would Highly recommend this cabin. We will be returning as soon we can. | |

| Although my stay was last year, I wanted to comment on the Sweetleaf now that you have a guestbook. I was lucky enough to be invited for a Thanksgiving stay there. It was a blast, so nice to be able to chill at this roomy place. What's so cool about it is there's so much to do, and everyone can just do their own thing if they want. I happen to be a game addict so I was pleased at the variety of old school games on the big screen. And I read now that more systems are there now. We went on a hike that was literally right out the door to work off the Thanksgiving dinner & snacking. Beautiful views all around.. Looking forward to bringing the mountain bikes up and hitting the local trails this spring. | |
