We spent 5 wonderful weeks in this flat in October. It is quite small, but worked great for us a retired couple interested in living in a typical Istanbul neighborhood. And its location, between Uskudar and Kadikoy, its incredible roof-top terrace and its delightful and accommodating owner more than made up for its size. Public transportation (buses, trains, ferries) are readily accessible, and the flat is a block from the neighborhood business street with banks, shops, restaurants. The terrace view is stunning the photo doesn't do it justice. We could have spent all 5 weeks on the roof watching the traffic on the Bosporus. We loved being on the Asian side, away from the tourist hordes but only a 15 minute ferry ride from all the sites on the European side.
