Our stay was just 'okay'. The Dragonfly provides plenty of room for you and your guests to come and stay, and oh, by the way, they invited the bugs to come and stay too! They were not tiny ants you would expect to see in a beach house, but more like two inch long bugs with large feelers...in the kitchen. Thought the villa had an over abundance of bugs, it was lacking in hot water! The first day we took cold showers, thinking that too many people were taking showers at once. Once we realized that the hot water simply was not working, we notified the main office. It then took them DAYS to send someone out to fix the problems.
St. Croix is most certainly a beautiful island, and a visitor does have a great view of Cane Bay. The living room area was nice to watch a movie, but when vacationing in the islands, who wants to stay inside?! The kitchen was also a little strange...lacking some BASIC cooking utensils. In short, we had a decent time, but there are certainly better places to stay and with people who take better care of their visitors. |
