I rented this property in March 2008. We were promised a hot tub. It had been out of order for some time. She promised (as she is required to do so under Californian Law) to return our $1000 security deposit within 21 days of our leaving the property. She did this on many occasions and still has failed to return our money .So I am suing her in the Civil Court in San Diego California in May 2009. She has avoided my process server at every opportunity. She is a cheat, she fails to comply with the law. Just beware, you will NOT get your deposit back with this owner !!!
