Whether lounging in your hammock or rocking on your front porch overlooking the water, you're sure to find each of our cottages warm and inviting.

Property Details

• Linens and towels are provided in each cottage for the number of persons on your reservation. Although we do not offer a maid service, we can offer 1 towel exchange at no charge after several days stay upon request. You are welcome, however, to use the washer and dryer in your cottage. Detergent is not provided, but we do sell the single use packs in our General Store. Bath towels are not to be taken to the pool or beach.

• Furniture in the Great Room includes at least the following: Sofa, Loveseat, 2 Chairs, with coffee and end tables. PLEASE DO NOT TRANSFER FURNISHINGS OF ANY KIND FROM COTTAGE TO COTTAGE.

• We do not have cribs available, but high chairs may be borrowed from our Lodge, subject to availability. Please request prior to arrival if possible.

• Appliances included in the kitchen are a frost-free refrigerator with ice-maker, electric range, dishwasher (we provide detergent for the dishwasher but not for the sink), microwave, toaster, and can opener. Each cottage also has a coffee maker; we do provide an initial supply of coffee, cream and sugar.

• A limited assortment of cookware (pots and pans, etc.) is provided in each cottage, as is a selection of plastic mixing bowls, although they may vary from cottage to cottage. Dishware, silverware, glasses and cups are also provided, although you are welcome to bring paper plates and/or disposable silverware. Should you desire to prepare any elaborate or large-scale meals, you may wish to bring a favorite larger pot or cooking appliance.

• Each cottage has central heat and air, in addition to a fireplace. We do provide wood for your fireplace and will replenish it daily in season. Please keep all doors and windows closed in summer to minimize cool air loss. Abruptly changing thermostat to a much lower temperature will freeze up the unit and will actually cause a longer delay in cooling the cottage. In addition, placing large amounts of room-temperature or cooked items in your refrigerator upon arrival will cause the refrigerator to take longer in overall cooling.

• We provide Dish Network Satellite TV and also include a VCR in each cottage. Pay-Per-View or on-demand movies are not available through this service at this time.

• A combination soap/shampoo dispenser is in each cottage bathroom. Paper towels and toilet paper are provided as well as an iron and ironing board, broom and mop. Cottages will have at least one alarm clock. Each cottage also has a 110 outlet on the back and waterfront porch. The switch to turn the security light on or off is located just our-side the kitchen door under the outlet cover on the back porch.

• Each cottage has several rockers on the waterfront porch, a picnic table, an in-ground charcoal grill (you may bring charcoal or purchase it at our General Store), a single person hammock, and a private, individual pier.
