All listings on VacationRentalDirect.com are assigned a quality score at the time the listing is added and every time the listing is updated. Here are the components of quality score: 1. Listing with 3 or less pictures = +1 2. Listing with 4 or more pictures = +2 3. Valid Google Map = +1 4. Listing Description with 50+ Characters = +1 5. Listing has phone number displayed = +1 6. Listing has availability calendar = +1 7. Listing has embedded video code = +1 Thus the highest quality score any listing can obtain is a score of 7. However, it is possible to get a score >7 by using the Backlink feature located in the tools section of your listing control panel. Using this feature it is possible get a quality score of 8 or 9, which would put your listing at the top of even the busiest categories. |
