Eagle's Haven was newly constructed in 2007 and is on a secluded 25 acre lot in a private community. The house was specifically designed for vacationing families, reunions, or several adult couples. Sleeps 12, 4 bedrooms, 3 bath, pet friendly.

Property Details

Eagle's Haven is located 12 miles south of Petersburg, WV, 12 miles north of Franklin, WV and 25 miles from Seneca Rocks/Dolly Sods Wilderness Area. The ground level has one bedroom, full bathroom, laundry room and home theater with a 60" satellite tv. The middle level has two bedrooms (w/satellite tv), full bath with jacuzzi tub, kitchen (fully equipped for the gourmet chef), dining and living room with a gas fireplace and satellite tv. The top level has one bedroom, full bath and family room with four twin beds (one bunk bed), and entertainment center (Playstation, Nintendo, games, dvd/vcr player, books, movies, etc. Our home is tastefully decorated with hardwood and ceramic floors throughout and fully furnished. Large wraparound deck with covered porch area, has lovely wooden chairs and rockers from which to view the mountains and abundant wildlife. An outside hot tub (6 people) is located on one end of the deck and gated for your privacy. There are two ponds located on the property each with a deck and are stocked with a variety of native fish. Sout Mill Lake which is adjacent to our property is a 50 acre lake that is stocked with native fish by the state of WV. Fishing and canoeing are an enjoyable activity at the lake. The South Branch of the Potomac River flows through Smoke Hole Canyon which is a 20 minute drive from Eagle's Haven.
Our newest vacation rental home, Bear's Den, will be available July 2008. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bath and sleeps up to 8. Check out our website.
