This grand home is one of the oldest Victorian homes on Mackinac Island and has been designated an historic landmark. Cloghaun (pronounced CLAH HAUN) was built in 1884 by the present ownerís great-grandparents who emigrated from Ireland to escape the famine. Cloghaun has been preserved by their descendants and now offers guests a tranquil, romantic interlude from the demands of everyday life.
