Butterfly Haven is located two miles from Marsh Harbour in Pelican Shores. It is a great area to relax and unwind without having the "typical" vacation rental. You will feel right at home. Just 1/4 mile from the famous snorkeling spot "Mermaid Reef"

Property Details

Butterfly Haven is located on the first level of Butterfly Cottage a residential home in Pelican Shores on the north side of Marsh Harbour. The Cottage is on a protected pond that offers you a great place to keep your (rented or owned) boat for easy access to all you want to do. Owners are on-site to assist if you have any questions about the area.

Walk to Pond Bay Beach, sit on the outside patio, relax in the hammock, feed pet fish at the dock, kayak through the mangroves, snorkle at Mermaid Reef or hop in the boat and visit one of the many beaches.

Marsh Harbour is the largest town in the Abacos, it makes a great place to base your island vacation, offering shopping and ammenities not found on most of the smaller surrounding Cays. Green Turtle Cay and Hope Town, offer the quaint charm of a New England town, Guana Cay is home to world famous Nipper's Bar, Man-O-War is a small boat building town which is home to Albury Brothers boats and "The Sail Shop" where you can purchase canvas bags and luggage, there are also a couple nice shops. A 20 min drive away is Pete's Pub and gallery in Little Harbour, or Treasure Cay where you can golf all day and then relax on the beach, Treasure Cay beach has been voted one of the top ten beaches in the caribbean.

Marsh Harbour is centrally located and makes it easy to reach all of these destinations. You will want a car and/or boat to fully enjoy your stay. You can also rent a bike if you want to explore around town then take a ferry to the Cays.

Rental Policy

Nightly rentals can be booked one month in advance for a rate of $225 per night. Weekly rentals $1200 per week. Mid-week laundry service included. Full maid service available at additional cost.

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

50% at time of booking. Balance due 30 days prior to arrival.
