Friendship/Waldoboro is situated in mid-coast Maine, 15 miles south of Rockland, 66 miles northeast of Portland and 28 miles south of Augusta.

This amazing Guest House has sweeping views of Hungry Island and Muscongus Bay and boasts five bedrooms and four baths. Beautival sunsets from the large deck overlooking the sea. Luxury and comfort.
There are three levels of living space: On the first floor, there is a master bedroom which has a queen size bed with down pillows and
comforters. There is also a guest bedroom on the first floor with a double bed; these two bedrooms share a beautiful full bath. The second master bedroom suite is very private, situated upstairs over the garage, with breathtaking views of the islands and deep blue ocean. It has a queen bed, down comforters and pillows, a full bath with a jacuzzi tub and separate walk in shower, and it's own living
area with cozy couches and down chairs with a fireplace and wet bar. This is Maine living at its best.

There are two bedrooms on the lower level, each with a full sized bed and gorgeous views of the sea. They share a full bath and a den for watching TV or reading.

All bedrooms have down pillows, down comforters and quilted bedspreads. We provide all linens and towels, including beach towels, dish towels and cloth napkins for dinner so you don’t have to worry about bringing these things. Washer and dryer for your use.

There is a private pier for your use with a rowboat and ocean kayaks to add to the waterfront experience. Even a deep-water mooring right in front of the house for your sailboat.

The full Kitchen includes an electric range, dishes, utensils,cookware, microwave oven, toaster, coffeemaker, blender, washer and dryer. Champagne bucket, and cystal flutes. The bathrooms include showers and bathtubs, and are stocked with linens, towels, beach towels. The windows are operable so you can catch the ocean breezes while relaxing on the spacious deck overlooking the sea. There are beautiful hardwood floors throughout, with ceiling fans in most rooms.

We limit the number of guests to no more than six people for the duration of the contract, in order to preserve the privacy, peace and tranquility of the setting. This is own vacation home, and we love
our home and our quiet neighbors. We ask each guest to leave the guest house broom clean and neat with dishes put away, clean and folded linens, sheets, towels, etc for the next guests. It would be too much work for the cleaners for us to do otherwise. Please respect this as we want to provide these things to make YOUR vacation easier and less stressful.Perhaps your idea of the perfect vacation is to sit on the deck,
relax on the pier with a good book from our well stocked library,
drink in the sights, sounds, and smells of Maine coast tranquility,
or to take a leisurely row in our dinghy exploring the ins and outs
of the immediate coastline and Hungry Island. However, for the more
adventurous souls there is sailing, boating, kayaking, fishing,
swimming (wet suits optional, and cinemas/movie theaters. within a
short drive you will find Art Galleries,Antique Shops,restaurants,and
gift stores.Visit the quaint New England towns of Wiscasset, Camden,Booth Bay Harbor or Rockland (the home of the Farnsworth musuem and american artist, Andrew Weyth). Artists may want to take the ferry to
Monhegan Island for the day, or drive 2.5 hours north to Arcadia Nation Park and Bar Harbor. For more ideas and information you can call the Camden, Rockport, and

Rental Policies

Off Season: May, June, September, October $1250/week Plus 7% Maine State Hospitality Tax Season: July, August $1750.00/week Plus 7% Maine State Hospitality Tax. Long weekends if available Off Season (Fall Foliage!) $450/weekend. 50% deposit due at time of booking, remainder due one month before occupancy. Rental period: Saturday to Saturday unless negotiated. Long week-ends: Friday thru Sunday negotiable. Check-in at 3 pm. on Saturday Check-out by 10 am on Saturday. Discount for multiple weeks after two.

Arrival Times

Saturday thru Saturday Check in is at 3 pm on the Saturday of your arrival and check out is at 10 am on your last Saturday to ensure readiness for the next guests

$1,250.00 to $1,750.00 per week

Season (July-August)$1,750.00/week Saturday - Saturday

Plus: 7% Maine state lodging tax, $75.00 cleaning fee.

Many of our returning guests inquire about staying for a month, or
longer. If you would like to stay for a month, or longer, please ask
us about our Monthly Discounts.

50% deposit required at time of reservation.

One week minimum stay.
