Spectacular & immaculate home in South Bend's most exclusive neighborhood. Located on former estate of 1920s - 30s Studebaker CEO Carl Erskine. Although his mansion is still there, Mr. Erskine committed suicide in 1932 - a victim of the 1929 Wall Street crash & Studebaker's declining fortunes.

The area then became St. Mary's Girl's Academy until the 1970s. Homes were built in the 80s & 90s and several of the streets are named after the nuns who taught at St. Mary's. Digger Phelps lived just down the street when he was at ND. Many of South Bend's top doctors and lawyers live in the neighborhood. It is peaceful & beautiful and close to shopping, restaurants, golf and US- 20 bypass. Five miles south of Notre Dame.
