Aloha! This is our home, not your typical vacation rental. We live and work here year round. We are travelling during this time and rent our house out to help with some of our travel expenses. Our home is beautifully decorated and is 300 yards from Waimanalo beach, one of the most beautiful and secluded beaches on Oahu. We have a master bedroom with a cal king bed that opens onto a covered lanai. The deck has outdoor dining for six and has a fantastic view of the majestic Ko'olau mountains. Our second bedroom has been transformed into a room for our 2 1/2 month old son, so if you have a little one we have a wooden crib, changing table, etc. Our downstairs has another cal king daybed that looks out on the plumeria and coconut trees. The backyard has a large hammock strung between two coconut palms, perfect for reading, relaxing and looking at the mountains, or gazing at the stars at night. Our home has everything you might have in your own home: coffee maker and bean grinder, microwave, cable tv, dvd, wireless internet, stereo with ipod dock, outdoor speakers for music on the lanai, washer/dryer, etc. There is a gas grill for your use as well as surfboards and two kayaks. We have a 6000 sq ft fenced backyard where our yellow lab roams, in case you have a dog that likes to travel with you. Our lab will be staying at her grandparents while we travel. :)
As I said before, this is our home. Our family photos are on the fridge, our clothes are in our closet, and our houseplants are green and happy. We will make room in the dresser and closet for your things, but it will be more like staying at your friend's house while they're away: not a typical sterile vacation rental. We are only interested in people who will care for our house as if it were their own. We have put a lot of time into making our house beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and would like it to stay that way. Our price is $1200/week. Three nights minimum stay/$550. $80 cleaning fee.
