The surrounding streets are filled with thriving businesses where visitors can find everything from kitschy trinkets to fine arts, used furniture to flowers, while enjoying the small-town atmosphere that remains a essential part of Hampden.

The house is also walking distance to a light rail stop, Woodberry station. The train can be taken directly to Camden yards, Convention Center and BWI Airport. Pimlico race track, Towson University, Loyola College, Notre Dame, Hopkins is also all very close by.
The upper level has two bedrooms (one with queen bed and one with twin bed and queen air mattress)and one bathroom with a two-person garden tub.

The main level has a kitchen stocked with all of your cooking and baking needs. The living room which is an office has two work areas equipped with Dish Network, Fax/Printer/Copier and a computer for your use. There is also wireless access for your laptop. There is a large park 2 blocks from the house that also has an olympic size outdoor swimming pool that is available for use during the summer months for a nominal fee.

The lower level has a wood burning stove with sitting area.
