Luxurious newly built 5 bedroom getaway on 2 secluded wooded acres shared with 2 bedroom cottage. Beautiful ocean views. Close proximity to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. House and cottage can be rented separately or together for large parties.

Property Details

Situated a short distance from the ocean in a peaceful wooded setting with wonderful water views; eagles, fox, deer, giant heron and other wildlife are often sighted on the property and nearby protected marshland. Explore the shore via a walking right of way to the ocean. Located in close proximity to Acadia National Park and other island attractions. Nearby lakes for swimming, kayaking or canoing in lakes and ocean. Cycling on Park carriage roads or on nearby islands via ferries, summer theater, music festivals, shopping in Bar Harbor, whale watching, golf, tennis, hiking all available nearby.

Cove House is a 5 bedroom 3 bath home. It can sleep up to 10 guests. 2nd floor Master suite has a queen bed with deck overlooking ocean, sitting area and master bath with glass shower stall and large whirlpool style tub. Bathroom has ocean views from tub and shower. There are 2 other bedrooms on second floor, 1 with queen bed and deck with ocean views and the other with twin beds. There is a second bathroom with tub/shower on second floor.

First floor has a bedroom with a queen bed and a bedroom with a twin bed and a trundle bed. Both bedrooms have ocean views. There is a bath with whirlpool tub/shower on the first floor.

Kitchen is fully equipped with granite countertops, stainless appliances, dishwasher and breakfast bar.

The dining room will seat 10 people comfortably. There is a TV room and a living room with gas fireplace as well as a patio with ocean views.

The house is fully furnished and all linens are supplied.

Cove Cottage is located 70 feet up the driveway from Cove House. The cottage has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. It can sleep up to 6 guests and can be rented with Cove House or separately. There is a large deck with ocean views. On the first floor, there is a bedroom with a queen bed, a living/dining area, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and a bathroom with tub/shower. Upstairs there is a master bedroom with bath with whirlpool tub/shower and a loft sitting area with a queen pullout couch. There is a small deck off the sitting room.
The cottage is fully equipped and all linens are provided.

Rental Policies

Rentals Saturday at 4 PM to following Saturday at 10 AM. Deposit: 50% of total rental fee upon reservation. Refunded in event of cancellation if rerented for entire period. Balance due 1 month before arrival includes remainder of rental fee, 7% state tax and security deposit of $400 for Cove House, $200 for Cove Cottage.

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

Rates:

Cove House:
$2000/week June, September, October
$2750/week July and August

Rates are for 8 people, 10 guests maximum. $15/day for each additional person.

Cove Cottage:
$1000/week June, September, October
$1500/week July, August
Rates are for 4 people, 6 guests maximum. $15/day for each additional person.
