The Home and Land The home is located at the end of a private, dirt drive in a quiet, wooded setting. Our Long Pond Retreat has over an acre of wooded land total with its own-- Separate Private Waterfront lot with over 120 feet of natural shore front! The home sits across from the Waterfront on the opposite side of the dirt drive. The home affords a beautiful view of Long Pond from the living room window! Your private waterfront is cove shaped, and has its own Deck, 25 foot Dock, and Ladder for swimming and a Mooring for your boat! The Private Waterfront has a beautiful meandering wooden walkway leading to your deck and dock on Long Pond! In the evening, the walkway and deck can be lit for ambiance or for a nighttime swim! There are many unique and truly spectacular views of Long Pond from the many different locations of our shore front. Watch the fireworks set off on a barge on the lake right from the dock.

The Neighborhood The home is located in a Private Association. In addition to our private waterfront, our neighborhood has 2 Common Waterfront Areas that you can also enjoy as our guests!: First is a Beach; (see photo album) Just 4/10s of a mile up the dirt drive from the home. We take our evening walk there, or you can just take your bike or car. There is a sandy beach area for playing and a large grassy area for volleyball or picnic. There are swings and many places to sit by the waters edge. Second is a Boat Mooring Cove; also know as a picnic area. It is located just about 200 feet from the home. It is where boats are moored. We take great pride in our home and neighborhood. We cater to the traveling family and welcome you into our home. If you are a vacationing family exploring our area for the first time, or have fallen in love with the Belgrade Lakes and now wish to come back year after year, we are looking for a few families to stay year after year. You are safe to stay with us. Always Owner operated, with a personal touch. There when you need us, invisible when you don't. You can rest assured that our home will be in clean and operating order on your arrival. (As it is within our power, anything can happen, and sometimes does!) Beds are made, refrigerator on and cold. We take great care in our number of guests policy and never allow large groups to have parties in our home. We frown on local friends and cars coming and going at all hours. We have a commitment to you, our traveling family, and will vacate those who we feel are putting our home and your vacation in jeopardy.

Security deposit based on number of guests, pets etc. Be sure to book early. Rates subject to change as season draws near and weeks book. We rent our home based on first come first serve. Belgrade Lakes is becoming a popular vacation spot. Weeks fill fast!
Terms & Conditions:
Our vacation home is strictly *Non-Smoking* on the entire property. Extra guests are allowed *Only* at the owners discretion. This includes day or overnight guests. Maximum number of persons never to exceed 8 day guests and 6 overnight guests. All ages included. Our home is located in a quiet, family neighborhood. We do not cater to parties, get togethers, etc. The home is reserved by non-refundable 1/3rd deposit and signed rental agreement and agreement of our online terms on our web pages. Remaining balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival. Personal checks not accepted after balance due date. Click on our website for our complete terms. Deposits are due within 5 business days. Leave the home as you found it. Lake & Well water supply, bring bottled drinking water. All rental amounts are subject to Maine's 7% use tax. Rates & terms subject to change without notice
