The House of Bamboo is perched high above the coconut palms with amazing views of Savusavu Bay, the mountains beyond and the reef below. Here Mother Nature is the star attraction. Your own private pool makes getting away from it all even easier.
The house has two levels each with their own bathrooms.
Your own private pool means that you can choose between swimming in the warm tranquil waters directly out front or just hanging out on the king sized daybed by the pool, maybe even sleep out by the pool.
The two Fijian style thatch bures give you spaces to choose from, your biggest decision will be choosing between the daybed or the hammock or if you are after some sun then maybe the sun lounges.
There are indoor and outdoor dining areas where you can watch the yachts with amazing sunsets as a backdrop. You might choose to watch the sunset from your own bathtub, built for two. Unexpected luxuries like crisp Egyptian Cotton Sheets, Flat screen TV, DVD and stereo all help to give that special something to your escape.
Make this your own private hideaway.
The House of Bamboo is located in an area known as Lesiaceva (Less-ee-ah-thay-vah), nearby to Cousteau Resort and approximately six kilometres from the township of Savusavu. There are also regular ferries from Lautoka and Suva which offer a slower mode of travel, offered by Bligh Water Shipping.
Once you arrive you can relax and unwind or arrange for fishing, diving or sailing charters. Maybe even visit the local Black Pearl farm or just laze around with your favourite book or magazine.
