Beautiful old Yamhill County etate with big trees, extensive lawns and gardens, pond with iris border and canoe, field of daffodils, hard surface tennis court and pool adjoining a garden with a romantic maze, surrounded by hazelnut orchard and vineyards. With a winery next door and one in the old barn, it is in a perfect location for wine touring. Only 20 miles from Portland , the original cottage and carriage house are available for week long stays. They are well equipped with linens, towels, kitchen equipment, etc. The cottage has a fireplace and laundry facilities, the carriage house is air conditioned and has a great claw foot tub. Both have fir floors, high ceilings and lots of charm.
Possible day trips include the coast, the Columbia Gorge, Mount Hood, the Oregon Garden, Mount St. Helens, Salem, McMinnville and of course Portland.

50% deposit within 7 says of booking, balance 2 weeks prior to visit
