Come indulge in our charming 3200 square foot home perched on the side of the mountain and surrounded by woods. It includes two spacious master suites and is located only 7 miles from the center of downtown Asheville.

This uniquely constructed home has a 22 foot high cathedral ceiling in the great room and two large stone fireplaces. It was recently renovated and sits on its own 3 acre track with-in a 100 acre wooded nature preserve, 2,400 feet above sea level. Watch wild turkeys and deer wander though your yard. You will final all the comforts of home with broadband internet, 6 person hot tub, and warm fireplace inside. A new central air conditioning make summers cool although seldom needed in the mountains in the evenings. It is completely furnished and supplied to comfortably accommodate 10 people. Although smoking is NOT permitted inside, the decks provide both convenience and a sand bucket for this activity.

You’ll enjoy staying at this lovely two story home with 4 bedrooms and 3 ½ baths. The home has hardwood floors, carpet in some of the bedrooms and large outside deck. The over-sized master bedroom has a king bed, TV, massage chair, and sliding glass doors to the upstairs deck facing the trees and mountains. The master bath has a full size tub, glass shower and two sinks. There is a second master suit downstairs with a queen bed and private bath. This bedroom has a glass door that opens onto the deck and hot tub area. The third bedroom is furnished with two queen mission style beds and is located at the opposite end of the house. It also has its own door opening that opens out to the deck. The forth bedroom is the smallest and has one double bed. Liens are provided. Two cable TVs; (one in the downstairs TV room and one in the master bedroom) are provided with VCR and DVDs.


Two sets of glass doors open out to the upper deck area from the great room. The deck area covers 1500 sq feet and has a gazebo with rocking chairs, outside chairs and a gas Barbeque grill.

Your kitchen is fully equipped with quality cookware. You have full size appliances, including refrigerator with ice/water in the door, electric flat cook top with self cleaning oven, dishwasher, and microwave. You’ll find sharp knives, multitude of pots, pans and bake dishes, pizza pans, hand mixer, toaster, blender, and coffee. The kitchen has a bay window that looks on onto the gazebo and deck. Off the kitchen you will find a small breakfast nook. There’s also a full-size washer and dryer for your convenience.

This home is private, yet centrally located for a truly enjoyable vacation experience. Travel an easy 7 miles to the center of downtown Asheville, for abundant shopping, dinning, arts, and entertainment. It is 9.3 miles to the entrance of the Biltmore Estate, the largest privately owned home in the Untied States. Grove Park Inn & Spa, a world class spa and resort, is 5.8 miles. For an outdoor experience, try the Hot Spring Spa only 30 miles on US-25. If you are feeling lucky you may try your hand at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino 55 miles west.

Several excellent grocery stores are near by. You may shop for your routine needs at Ingles only 0.7 miles away, or experience the Old European touch at Fresh Market 3.2 miles away. If you are looking for health foods, you cannot beat Earth Fare 5 miles away or Green Life 4.8 miles away. If you don’t feel like cooking, we have several excellent restaurants all within 5 minutes of this property. We recommend the Bavarian Lodge, Stony Knob, Bellagio Bistro or Well Bread Bakery & Café. You can shop till you drop at the Asheville Mall 6.6 miles away or the historic Grove Arcade Public Market 5.1 miles away.

For the outdoors type, you will find the French Broad River only 2.2 miles away on Old Marshall Highway, Wolf Laurel Ski Resort 25 miles north on I-26 and Chimney Rock 32 miles on US-74. Just a few miles to white water rafting, mountain bike riding, horseback riding, balloon rides and hiking trails. Take a relaxing stroll round Beaver Lake only 3 miles away or a long drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway only 9 miles east.

For entertainment, we’ve provided scrabble board, Monopoly game, chess, checkers, playing cards, yahtzee. And a small selection of enjoyable paperback novels. You will also find a home intercom system that provides sound throughout the house with CD/AM/FM/Tape music. We also provided a telephone with UNLIMITED phone calls within the United States.

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

Daily rates of $295, weekend for $345 or weekly for $1600. THREE nights minimum plus a one time $75 cleaning fee. State and local taxes apply.
