The Bear's Den is stashed away in the forest just two miles south of Breckenridge and a short walk from Goose Pasture Tarn Lake. This home is close to everything you and your family could imagine for your summer or winter mountain vacation. Stay with us and see why Summit County is Colorado's play ground!

Imagine this: after an amazing day on the slopes at one of the 6 nearby ski resorts or mountain biking the back country in the Arapaho National Forest, you enter the home from the attached garage, hang up your gear in the mud room on the specially designed boot/glove drying rack, cruise up to the main floor to warm your toes in front of the wood-burning fireplace and enjoy a hot toddy on the front deck overlooking Mt. Baldy. Then, after you have reminisced about the day’s adventure you get cooking with your family and friends in the spacious, completely stocked kitchen. After dinner, retreat to the master suite’s jetted whirlpool, or if you feel sociable, relax with your guests in the 6 person private indoor hot tub.

Ideal for families, the Bear’s Den offers a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable dining room complete with high chair and booster chair, washer/dryer, spacious entertaining rooms, a special mud room to warm wet boots & mittens, quiet master suite offset from main living area and large enough to accommodate the provided portable crib, cool bunkroom, selection of DVDs, bumper pool table, a few sleds, and plenty of blankets for snuggling in while enjoying the scenery.

Peace, quiet and the sleeping is easy! The master suite features a king size bed, French doors opening to the back deck, and a private full bathroom complete with jetted tub and separate shower. The second bedroom is upstairs and features a pillow-top queen bed and beautiful wooded views. The third bedroom, also upstairs, features stunning mountain views, log furniture, a full bed and full size futon and shares the upstairs full bathroom with the second bedroom. The fun, downstairs bunkroom features 2 sets of twin bunk beds to sleep 4. There is an additional full-size futon in the upstairs loft and another full bath on the main level.

We also supply the following for your convenience: Coffee, tea, dish soap, laundry detergent, hand soap, shampoo and hand lotion.

Pets and smoking are not allowed.

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

Three night minimum stay. Christmas to New Years is 5 night minimum. 7th night is always free! 5.775% tax not included in rates.
