Opposite the beach in the courtyard, beautiful gardens surround a large pool that includes a lap lane. It provides a shady lush contrast to the surf and beach. The owner, a professional landscape designer is tranforming her garden area with many unique flaura of the region, including fruit and citrus trees. You will be surrounded by beauty.
The condominium, nestled between the gardens and the beach, on the ground floor, has floor-to-ceiling windows. This provides expansive views to the beach and bay, and along with the extra tall ceilings create an extra sense of spaciousness to the already large open design. As a second living area, the beach-side covered patio is fully screened and in addition to its comfortable seating has a stunning sea-life wall mural of Half Moon Bay! Simply step outside to the lawn area with your own PRIVATE BEACH LOUNGERS and then 5 steps and you are on the beach.
There are two king-size bedrooms with full bathrooms. Both bedrooms have special orthopedic mattresses and extreme padding, combined with 400ct egyption cotton sheets provide the most comfortable sleeping in ALL OF AKUMAL. The master bedroom is done in a contemporary caribbean color scheme and has a private attached bath. Its bath and vanity areas, like all other areas of SeaScape, have special touches: the master bath with a beautiful custom stained glass window depicting a seascape and the vanity area is finished out with Mexican handpainted Talavera tile.
The guest bedroom is decorated in a butterfly theme with a custom headboard, sure to delight guests, and has its own private patio and seating. All rooms have large ceiling fans including the baths. For additional comfort though, A/C is available throughout the condo.
All amenities are provided for a quiet, relaxing but fulfilling vacation. As this is the owner's private retreat, there are many extras that won't be found in most other condos. Special features are throughout, just too many to list.
As La Sirena is on the north end of Half Moon Bay, the beach is one of the more private beaches in Akumal. In additional to the condo's personal beach loungers, tables and chairs; Palapas and beach loungers are available for your use. Step off into the water and enjoy some of the best snorkeling in the area. In addition to the large courtyard pool, there is another shade pool beach side, available for cooling off.
Akumal is sixty miles south of Cancun International Airport, south on the four lane, newly renovated highway 307. While Akumal is a quiet, laid-back area focused on beautiful beaches, snorkeling and pristine diving, it is literally twenty minutes from everything. There are Mayan ruins, golf, nature parks, cenotes, even active nightlife. This truly is the perfect place to create lifetime memories!
