Property Details

Moloaa Bay is a small, secluded community on the northeast shore of Kauai. The beautiful crescent shaped bay is a peaceful hide-away, relatively undeveloped and unknown to most visitors. Close to everything but far removed from the hustle and bustle of tourist areas, it is 15 minutes south to Kapaa and 15 minutes north to Princeville and Hanalei.

Private and uniquely situated with ocean, garden and mountain views, you will sleep to the sound of the waves in this 400 sq. ft. guest house. Separate from the main house with its own private entry, your house sits behind two multi-million dollar oceanfront homes that are rarely occupied. It is just a few steps to swimming and snorkling and reef walking at the uncrowded beach.

Private stairs lead up to your beach house, which is 13 ft. in the air and has a large lanai with ocean and milky way nightime views. Inside, it has high open beam natural wood ceilings, with ceiling fans and lots of windows. This house is very comfortable, light-filled and spacious with a California king-size bed, partial kitchen, all tile floors, and large bathroom with granite countertop vanity and full glass two person shower. The decor transports one to another time, another place in paradise. There is a partial ocean view from all rooms except the bathroom. Ideal for couples who like nature and privacy.

Amenities include a partial kitchen that has everything except a stove top: granite countertop, cabinetry, small sink, microwave, counter top oven, small refrigerator, blender, coffee maker, dishes, utensils, towels. There is even a gas barbeque conveniently located on the lanai.
There is a washing machine and soap that are available to you.
There is also a TV (no cable or satellite) with a DVD player and a video library as well as a CD library. There is dial-up internet at the cottage and free WiFi at the Small Town Cafe in Kapaa about 8 minutes away.

Rental Policies

Your deposit will be deducted from the total rent. The balance will be due one month prior to arrival. We do not require a damage or security deposit. Normal wear and tear will not be charged.

CANCELLATIONS: If you need to cancel, please let us know as early as possible. If we are able to rent out your dates, we will return 100% of your deposit.

Arrival Times

Check in is at 4:00 P.M. Check out is at 11:00 P.M. Earlier or later check in/check out can be arranged if we do not have a scheduling conflict
