This beautiful rustic A-frame home, located on 3 wooded acres in Rome (Nekoosa), Wisconsin, offers an affordable alternative to hotel or motel lodging. 3 bedrooms, 2 with queen beds and 1 with a double bed. 2 single beds in the loft. Bath with shower. Fully equipped kitchen comes complete with dinnerware, pots & pans, small appliances and gadgets, stove, refrigerator w/icemaker, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker...all the comforts of home are provided (except a blender). Washer and dryer in the basement. There's also a game area (with a table and chairs) in the basement for the kids to play in and a television for hooking up their video games. Gas heat and central air conditioning, plus a gas fireplace in the family room make this a perfect year around weekend or week-long getaway. Enjoy the view from a wall of windows, where you will find a beautiful, professionally landscaped, park-like yard. Outside, there is a partially covered deck surrounding the home, as well as a recessed patio area with charcoal grill and patio furniture for your outdoor dining pleasure. There is a paved driveway and lots of parking area, for storing your recreational toys. You will be close to beaches, dining, attractions, golfing, boating, horseback riding, canoeing, cross-country skiing and more. Relaxation or exhilarating activities...the choice is yours! After a few days at our place, you'll return home with a big happy smile on your face and lots of great memories. Don't be surprised to find surprise visits from the locals (deer, wild turkeys) at any given time. We can't wait to hear from you.

Rental Policies

Security deposit = 1/2 total reservation amount payable when Rental Agreement is submitted. Reservation dates will be confirmed after receipt of security deposit and Rental Agreement.

Refunds will be made if cancellation is received at least 7 days prior to reservation date.

Pet requires pre-approval by owner.

We accept cash or personal check with the Rental Agreement. Reservation will be confirmed only after 1/2 of the full payment along with the Rental Agreement has been received by owner. Balance is due 30 days prior to rental date.

$35 per person for groups larger than 6.
