Baan Napoli is designed with total luxury, relaxation and comfort in mind. A spacious and airy home comprised of 4 separate pavilions offering stunning sea views. Fully managed with villa staff and bilingual concierge for all tours and activities.
After a short and scenic 15 minute drive from the airport, past Fisherman’s Village and up through the winding hills of Bophut, passing through the ‘Bophut Hills’ 9-hole golf course on the way, you’ll find yourself perched high on the jungled mountains of north-east Samui and in front of the heavy wooden gates of 'Baan Napoli'.
Surrounded by a sun-baked stone wall, and protected by CCTV, ‘Baan Napoli’ is comprised of 4 separate pavilions set on different levels. The large open rooms and terraces are all adorned and styled with hand-picked imported Italian furniture, art and textures, which help bring colour and character to this spacious and airy home, designed with total luxury, relaxation and comfort in mind.
As the gates of the property open, you are greeted by a view that will bring sighs of relief to all weary travelers and new arrivals. You will actually be able to see through the main pavilion entrance and living area to the sea and neighbouring islands.
A deep breath of mountain air and you'll be ready to cross the leafy lawn and lush tropical garden of baby palms and indigenous flora, and then negotiate a bubbling ornamental moat of Japanese Koi carp. Once across the stepping stones and through the teak wooden doors of the main pavilion, you’ll be able to fully appreciate the panoramic view in this bright and open living space. Neutral tones and earthy shades accent this large 150 square meter rectangular room, framed by a high wooden ceiling and smooth white marbled ceramic tiled floor.
To your left, you can look forward to relaxing in style on a vast cream leather sofa that corners a full home entertainment centre complete with 60” plasma screen TV and surround sound that reaches every corner of the villa.
A mocha brown leather table and chairs to seat 10, centre’s the room, while on the right is a small but ample guest bathroom. Backing onto the bathroom and fronting onto the sun terrace is the kitchen separated by a marbled slate breakfast bar. Open and modern, this kitchen is equipped with a mirrored fridge and stainless steel appliances making it a bright and efficient space designed for entertaining, and with a local chef and staff on hand you will not need to lift a finger.
The whole living/kitchen/dining area opens onto a wide, sun-filled terrace where you will be able to recline in a giant wooden hammock or wicker chairs and watch the ocean twinkle by day and the stars and lights of Chaweng, Bophut and Choeng Mon by night.
On the ground floor of the main living pavilion, are two identical guest bedrooms with wooden floors, leather furniture and mini entertainment centers. Large glass doors open onto the pool terrace and the same spectacular view as above, while king sized beds and crisp white sheets are draped with throws and pillows in muted shades of willow and cream, to contrast the bold prints of local artists on the walls.
The en-suites feature stand alone bath tubs with views of the bay and large glass shower rooms with wooden floors. Double sinks sit upon teak counters, while splashes of tropical greenery bring life to the neutral sandstone palette of the walls and floors.
Three other bedrooms can be found in their own pavilions nestled around the pool terrace. All open onto the pool, yet remain private. Similar styling runs throughout, yet each room has unique touches from local and Italian craftsmen, such as canopy beds and leather units for the TV and DVD player. All have sandstone tiled floors and en-suites, with plenty of space, teak closets, while wide open glass windows and doors will help you merge with the outside world, when the mood takes you.
The focal point of the outside space is the slate blue/green infinity pool - perfect for a morning swim, family fun or perhaps a floating air bed siesta. Splashes of tropical greens, pinks and violet bring colour to the pool terraces, with plenty of umbrellas and loungers to keep everyone content poolside. On the far left, overlooking the bay and sloping rock garden, is the outside kitchen and dining area, with full bar-b-cue, oven, fridge and sound system for the whole pool area. These and other conveniences will help you make a smooth transition from the indoor lifestyles of many countries to the outside world of island life.
For your added comfort and convenience ‘Baan Napoli’ signature robes, towels and slippers are provided that will make you feel pampered throughout the day and night, or maybe after a steam in the ground floor steam room, located beside the outside stairs of the main pavilion.
Spaced generously over half an acre, this opulent oasis offers all you need to hideaway and never leave, yet is near enough to civilization, should you seek fun and relaxation of any kind… the choice is yours.
