On the Kalapana coast away from the usual tourist scene, Peaceful Cove Cottage is the perfect place to rest and recharge. The sunny yard and cool lanai provide opportunities to relax and enjoy some of the best weather in Hawaii. The sound of gentle ocean waves invites you to meander along your own private path through a pristine forest rich in native flora. A minute's walk brings you to the beautiful ocean and peaceful cove. Blues skies, sparkling water and a fascinating coastline lie before you. Walk easily for miles on the rugged yet stable shore. Explore awesome lava formations and witness spectacular sunrises and sunsets.



On site- wave watching, one may see dolphins and whales, walking, hiking, exploring lava fields. Also enjoy various species of birds. Within walking distance is a newly formed black sand beach and within 3 miles is a charming black sand beach with clothes optional sunning and swimming. Short drive on a scenic drive you'll find tide pools for snorkling, swimming, places for Surfing, kayaking, boating and picnicking.

A full kitchen with large size refridgerator, family games, carpet grass lawn, fish ponds, an abundance of flowers and fruit trees, private drive with covered parking help to complete the amenities.

Rental Policies

smoking is permitted on the lanai, not in the home.
securiy/cleaning deposit is completly refunded at time of departure if the cottage is left in the manner it is found. If cancellation occurs, deposit is refunded if that time framed is filled, or 3 months prior to arrival.
