The award winning spa retreat which nestles on 150 acres of Australian native bush high on a ridge overlooking the picturesque Atherton Tablelands, in the Cairns Highlands. The retreat offers four spacious fully self contained romantic hilltop spa lodges for couples.
Each romantic retreat has been designed to offer maximum privacy and inside you will find meticulous attention to detail.
The ideal romantic getaway location or as a superb base from which to explore all the attractions of the historic Tablelands and the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef. Our own walking tracks allow you to explore the surrounding woodlands where you’ll discover interesting flora, bird life and see wallaby’s and kangaroos up close.
Enjoy a relaxing aromatherapy massage on the privacy of your deck or just sit back and enjoy the breathtaking views.
Allawah Retreat offers a true Australian experience -wallabies, wattle, kangaroos, kookaburras, birds and bettongs. Relax and enjoy the peace, privacy and tranquillity of our retreat.
The retreat is within 1 hours drive of waterfalls, lakes, rainforest, caves and the great Aussie outback. Visit antique and local art and craft shops and enjoy the culture and colour of the local markets. Experience hot air ballooning, horseback riding, wine tastings, coffee plantations, nature tours, and much much more.
Facilities
The lodges are fully self contained, are individual in design, and offer every luxury, including huge heated deck spas, BBQ, plunge pool, hand crafted red cedar furniture, double shower, DVD, stereo sound system, cosy log fires, comfy lounges, complimentary port, robes, fresh native flowers, hand made chocolates and home made cookies. Each has it’s own laundry.
