Views: This is one of only three ski hill facing condos on the top (5th) floor of the Powderhorn Lodge. Inspiring views will greet you when you wake up, from windows that are up to seven feet high, and from your private deck. (Photo on the right shows the view from the Bedroom Suite.)

Quiet: Our unit faces away from the road - shielding us from the highway noise. We also face toward peaceful Powderhorn courtyard rather than the potentially noisy village courtyard. There is no one above us and only one neighbor since we are next to a fire escape stairway.

Solitude Ski Resort is located 40 minutes from Salt Lake City international airport in the heart of the Wasatch Mountains. You will find some of the finest and most consistent skiing here in the world - the Greatest Snow on Earth.

Powderhorn Escape is a beautiful two bedroom fifth floor unit. The private bedroom has a king bed that looks out upon the peak where Powderhorn Lift ends. The second bedroom suite contains a queen size bed, private bathroom, a sofa that can be converted to a sleeper, kitchenette, desk, and best of all magnificent mountain views. Free high speed internet is provided so you can check on the amount of fresh powder to expect the next day. Free local and long distance telephone service is also provided. Each of the bedrooms has a TV with cable and DVD/VCR. A full kitchen with dishes and cooking amenities is provided if you do not want to dine in the village restaurants or at nearby Silver Fork Lodge. The family room contains a fireplace, TV with cable and DVD/VCR, lounge chair, and sofa that converts to a bed. The private deck is reached through sliding glass doors. Since we are a two minute walk to the lift, this is a great place to come back to warm your toes, or enjoy lunch in the sun on the private deck. The vending machines and shared washer and drier are conveniently located just down the hall on our floor. Club Solitude is a one minute walk into an adjacent building that contains many activities, including:

* Library for reading or checking out books to take back to the condo

The Village contains a French Restaurant, and American Restaurant, and a deli that makes pizzas and crepes. Downstairs in the Powderhorn building you will find the ski shop. There are also retail stores in case you forget your gloves, and an Ice rink in the winter, so bring your blades or rent them from the ski shop! You will find this a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a family vacation.
