Located 11 miles west of Bryson City, North Carolina, between Nantahala Village and Nantahala Outdoor Center. Within easy driving distance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (30-45 minute drive,) Cherokee Reservation (20 miles,) Nantahala River (take out is <5 minutes, put-in approximately 10 miles, driving time dependent on time of the year) Fontana Lake (<2 miles,) Harrah's Casino (<half hour,) Joyce Kilmer Forest (30-45 minute drive,) Deep Creek tubing and camping (<20 minute drive,) Nantahala National Forest (<15 minutes,) Tsali Campground and mountain biking trails (<15 minutes,) and many other natural attractions. We are an hour and 20 minutes southwest of Asheville, North Carolina - and a 2 1/2 hour drive from Atlanta. If you enjoy hiking, whitewater rafting, canoeing or kayaking, or if you are just looking for beautiful, peaceful mountain scenery, this is your perfect location. We're rural and isolated just enough to make you know you've left the rat race behind...but there's high definition satellite tv and wi-fi internet access to keep you connected.
