We invite you to escape to Tranquility, Nature and Relaxation. This cozy log cabin is nestled in the deep woods and is only one mile from the entrance to Richard B. Russell State Park and the new Arrowhead Pointe Golf Course.

Deer Run is only minutes from state parks, historic sites, golf courses, and Lakes Richard B. Russell and Hartwell. Lake Russell (26,500 acres) touts "world class bass" fishing and a new 7000 yard fully sodded golf course, Arrowhead Pointe. We can also arrange golf packages for weekday & weekend play.

Nearby communities offer history and convenience in a small town atmosphere, with everything from antiques and marine supplies to fine dining, coffee shops and live bluegrass music at The Depot in Hartwell. We are an easy drive from Atlanta, Athens, Augusta and Greenville, South Carolina.

The cabin was recently completed and is constructed of "Fireside's" massive 12-inch white pine logs. It features heavy timber framing and vaulted ceilings in the great room. The two bedrooms feature queen-size beds and new pillow-top mattresses. There are two Lazy-Boy queen sleeper sofa's as well and the cabin will sleep eight people comfortably. The decor is elegant, but rustic and casual, decorated with a nature and wildlife theme. You will love rocking on the two covered porches overlooking a spring-fed creek and magnificent hardwood forest. Don't be surprised if deer and turkey join you for a early morning breakfast on the back deck/porch.

The floors are rustic top-nailed white pine with ceramic tile in the bathrooms and utility room. The kitchen is fully furnished with top of the line appliances (glass top stove, microwave, double door refrigerator with icemaker and dishwasher).

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

From $ 125/night (2-night minimum) ...... Plus $70 Cleaning Fee.
From $650/week (Saturday to Saturday) .. Plus $70 Cleaning Fee.
-$300 Damage/Security deposit required to hold reservation.

-Reservation must be paid in full 30 days prior to arrival.
-Deposit will be returned within 15 days from departure.
-Cancellation - 14 days prior to arrival for full refund.
