The cottage is furnished to a high and comfortable standard. It has a large comfortable lounge and dining area complete with a TV, DVD and CD player. A well equipped kitchen. All bedroomns have en-suite with walkin showers.
Monte Da Quinta, Castro Verde is a 13 acre working farm with a main Monte (house) and two cottages. Licensed by the Ministry of Tourism, the farm has mature Olive and Orange groves set in ecological surroundings featuring an historic artesian well and offering stunning views. Just on the edge of Castro Verde, Monte Da Quinta sits within the beautiful plains of the Alentejo region in Southern Portugal and is 45 mins from the Algarve and West Coast.

5 minute walk into Castro Verde town centre. To the north are the towns of Beja (the capital of the Alentejo province), Evora, Mertola and Lisbon; all beautiful towns and steeped in history. Lisbon, the country’s capital. Alternatively, it is accessible by train from Garvao, a short distance from Castro Verde. To the south are the towns of Faro, Portimao, Loule, Albufeira, and Tavira. All can be reached by car, bus or rail (to Faro).
Castro Verde is an extremely well equipped town with several restaurants, supermarkets, cash points, a health centre and 24hr pharmacy and an open air market selling local produce. The town has boutiques, hardware and household shops. There is a post office, an internet cafe, night club, public swimming pools, a coach station, cinema and a cultural centre. There are also are two petrol stations within Castro Verde.
Minimum Age - It is our policy that persons staying at Monte da Quinta must be a minimum of 21 years of age unless accompanied by an adult
Your cottage will be available from 16.00 hrs on the day of your arrival, and must be vacated by 10.00 hrs on the day of your departure
Payment - We require your 30% non-refundable deposit when making your reservation. Reservations are not guaranteed until we are in receipt of your deposit. The balance must be received 6 weeks prior to your arrival. All bookings made within 4 weeks of arrival must be paid in full.
