The Chaika Beach Apartment is just 7 miles from the centre of Varna and less than 20 minutes from Varna airport, on a relatively undiscovered beach. Chaika Beach has a charming Bulgarian atmosphere, quite unlike typical resort developments.
The apartment is on floor 2 of the 5 floor building and has a southerly aspect with oblique views of the beach and sea. It is a generous 62m2 in size, and consists of an entrance hall, corridor, open-plan lounge-diner with kitchen area, a double/twin bedroom, and shower room/WC. The 4.5m2 balcony is accessible from the lounge and the bedroom. It is protected by an intercom entry system. Allocated parking is at the rear of the building. An elevator (lift) serves all floors of the building.
In order to preserve its clean, hygienic condition we have a non-smoking, no-pets policy. It is managed by an English-speaking company in Varna, who also provide FREE airport pick-up and transfer, and who service the apartment with care including changing bed-linen weekly.
The air-conditioned lounge area has two comfortable sofas (which can become full-length beds simply by removing the cushions), and a TV set with 40 channel satellite reception. The dining area seats four. The kitchen area has generous worktop space and storage, a 4-ring hob, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave oven, washing machine, electric kettle and coffee maker. All the necessary crockery, cutlery, cookware, tableware, iron, ironing board, drying rack and useful accessories are provided.
The bed is designed for use either as a double bed or as two separated singles, as you prefer. There is a wardrobe, another in the corridor outside, and a chest of six drawers with a mirror over. There is a separate air conditioning unit in this room. Additional clothes hooks are provided throughout the apartment.
The fully-tiled bathroom has a WC, wash-hand basin, and electric shower and de-luxe enclosure, plus all those little fittings which make life more comfortable.
The south-facing balcony (with sea views of course) is accessible from the lounge and the bedroom, and is provided with two chairs to relax in, a matching table, and clothes-drying facilities.
Local facilities include intimate restaurants, sun beds and parasols for hire, on-beach showers, lifeguards, beach café-bars, and basic shopping facilities.
