Gästehaus am Berg is a small independent, bed and breakfast guesthouse with 13 en-suite bedrooms, able to sleep a maximum of 27 people. Many of the bedrooms have balconies and views either, across the village to the Czech Republic or of Grosser Arber
The guesthouse is located on the border with the Czech Republic, on the edge of the Bayerwald National Park, part of the largest forested area of central Europe and in the shadow of Grosser Arber (1454m). A great place for skiing in the winter and walking and mountain biking in the summer. The historic cities of Passau, Regensburg, Munich, Prague, Nurmeburg and Salzburg all within easy reach.
All rooms have German TV, tea and coffee making facilities, towels included. There is a large breakfast room and lounge with fireplace for the use of guests, with a small library area of English and German fiction, guide books and maps, board games and puzzles, for the use of guests. There is Children play equipment in garden for guest use. Free car parking. Children welcome. No smoking throughout the property. Sorry, pets not allowed.
You can reserve a room at the standard rate, by paying a 20% deposit within 7 days of making a provisional booking. The balance to be paid on arrival at the guesthouse. There is no set changeover day, this is flexible. However, rooms must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. We ask that arriving guests do not check in before 4pm to allowed us time to clean rooms etc.
Rates are per person, per night and assume max. occupancy per room. All prices include buffet breakfast and all taxes.
