Maui by the Sea is a beautiful vacation rental - an ideal ocean-view cottage located between Paia and Hookipa, on Maui's scenic and exciting North Shore. Our two-story plantation-style cottage has gorgeous views of a sapphire ocean with dancing wave.

Property Details

The 500 sq.feet air-conditioned apartment is upstairs (downstairs is the open garage), surrounded by a lovely Hawaiian tropical garden with bamboos, palm trees, gingers, heliconias and fruit trees. The inside is cozy and elegant. A separate bedroom with a queen-sized bed, full bath, and full kitchen complement the layout.
Walk out into the front yard, and watch surfers enjoying the beautiful blue waves! Maui by the Sea's property is located right on the ocean, fronting a popular local surf break. The entertainment never stops!

Your cottage is 150 feet from the ocean. (Access to the water is possible but there is no beach in front of the property; it is a rocky shoreline). A sandy beach is 200 yards from the cottage with access for windsurfing, surfing and snorkeling; or if you wish, just sunbathing on the golden sand.

A short drive down the coast takes you to Baldwin Beach, the nicest beach on Maui's North Shore with long long stretches of white sand, crystal clear water, lifeguards, pavilions, and showers.

Rental Policies

* If you cancel prior to 60 days before arrival, we will refund your deposit less a cancellation fee of $165 or 10% off the total amount of the booking whichever is greater to cover expenses incurred and lost booking opportunities
* If you cancel within 60 days prior to arrival, you will receive your deposit refunded for days rebooked minus above cancellation fee
* No refund for early departures

Rate for 1 or 2 persons. Add $25/day for one additional guest
Reservation is held by a 50% down payment due upon receipt of reservation invoice. Final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival
Payments by US checks (payable to: Valerie Lewis Okamura), Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discovery, or PayPal
Minimum stay 5 nights. Shorter stays accepted with a $35 cleaning fee if booked at the last minute or if it fits perfectly within 2 other bookings
10% discount for 30 days or more
