Come catch your breath at Second Wind, a Bed and Breakfast known for its rustic elegance and full country breakfasts. We are located in rural Ashland near the Chequamegon Bay which is on the south shore of Lake Superior. Come enjoy our quiet!

Property Details

Second Wind is a Bed and Breakfast with a lodge type feel. We host many honeymooners, retired couples and avid B&B goers. We have a pillow count of 20 and host many family gatherings and reunions of various kinds. We are a quiet place of rest along life's highway. Come enjoy our 35 acres to ramble.
Saffron our draft horse is available at a fee for sleigh and wagon rides.
There are many beautiful places to visit while in our Northern region...waterfalls, Lake Superior, sea cave, ice cave(in winter), rocky beaches, bike trails,cc ski trails, the Apostle Islands and so much more. Come enjoy Gods wonderful creation hiking trails,on your bike, in a kayak, in a sail boat, in a fishing boat or on a cruise line excursion boat.
Just get away from it all and come catch your breath at Second Wind.
