Aacorn Bluff Cottage and Chalet is open year round for your enjoyment. All chalets offer central heat and air for all season comfort. In the summer months before a night on the town, cool off with a dip in the pool only a few steps away. In winter after skiing the slopes, you can curl up in front of the fireplace and relax before enjoying a gourmet meal at one of the area's fine restaurants. Any season, any time, Aacorn Bluff Cottage and Chalet is available.
Our beautiful chalets are only a few minutes from the parkway. Countless attractions and every dining preference imaginable are just minutes away.
Whether you only visit for a few days or your choice is a long term vacation, Aacorn Bluff Cottage and Chalet coupled with the area offer an unmatched alternate living experience.
Imagine the night breeze rustling through the trees, the moon peeking from behind white fluffy clouds and the nightingale in the distant woods. All this is commonplace at Aacorn Bluff Cottage and Chalet.

Rental Policies

Terms and Conditions

AGREEMENT

Note, Directons and check-in/check-out instructions are automatically emailed 7 days prior to arrival date. Rent is charged 50% at time of reservation and balance 30 days before arrival. The balance is AUTOMATICALLY charged to the same credit card you supplied when making the reservation.

Security Deposit: A security/damage deposit is required for all reservations. No charge will be billed to your credit card for the security deposit UNLESS there are damages, missing inventory, and/or excessive cleaning.

Cancellation Policy: Notice of cancellation must be submitted in writing. Notice given over the phone will not be considered valid. Written notification received 30 days or more prior to arrival date is entitled to refund MINUS $100.00 cancellation fee. NO REFUNDS of ANY monies for any cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival date – NO EXCEPTIONS. We recommend you obtain separate travel insurance to cover any loss and/or refunds.

Occupancy: The Tenant(s) agrees to maintain peace and quiet while occupying the rental and agrees not exceed the specified maximum number of occupants. Any occupancy over the specified amount without prior approval will result in immediate eviction and FORFEITURE OF ALL RENT and/or Security deposit. In addition, Tenant(s) agree to be responsible for any and all fines and/or fees imposed by the City or County for violation of maximum number of occupants. No house parties are permitted. You may not sublet or sublease this property. This agreement is non-transferable.

Minimum Age Requirement: The person responsible for this Rental Agreement must be 21 years of age or older. Photo id is required at check-in and the name on the photo id MUST match the name on the reservation – NO EXCEPTION. Non-compliance will result in FORFEITURE OF ALL RENT and/or Security deposit – NO EXCEPTION.

Keys: Lost door keys will result in additional charge against your security deposit.

Pets: Pets are not permitted.

Check-in-time: Check-in time 3:00 PM EST. Pre-payment of all rent is required. For after hours check-in other arrangements will be made.

Check-out-time: Check-out time is 11:00 AM EST. Failure to meet the scheduled check-out time will result in a late check-out charge against your security deposit.

Damage: Any and all damage determined to have been caused by a Tenant(s), or during a Tenant(s)’ occupancy will result in the estimated cost of repairs and/or damages to be deducted from the security/damage deposit. To avoid any claims against your deposit, we ask that you treat the rental property as you would treat your own home. Inventory is done at the end of each rental period. Missing items will also be deducted from your deposit. Any costs above the security deposit will be charged to the credit card on file. By signing this Agreement, you acknowledge that additional monies may be charged to your credit card to cover damages in excess of the Security Deposit, missing inventory, and/or other expenses above and beyond the Security Deposit.

Smoking: If you must smoke, do so outdoors. NO SMOKING is permitted. Any additional costs required to remove odors, burn marks, etc., will be deducted from the security deposit.

Repairs: There will be no refunds for any mechanical, appliance or air conditioning failure, cable or satellite TV problems, wireless internet problems, etc. In the event of any problem during your stay, notify the Property Owners immediately.

Early Departure: There will be no refunds on any early departures. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Hold Harmless: Tenant(s) do hereby indemnify an hold harmless, Property Owner(s) and/or Property Manager(s) , from any and all claims, damages, suits, causes of action, or loss, associated with or occasioned as a result of Tenant(s)’ occupancy of the aforementioned Property, including but not limited to, all attorneys’ fees and court costs associated with any such claim. This Hold Harmless and Indemnification is being executed as a Condition Precedent to Tenant(s)’ occupancy of said Property, and in consideration of Property Owners’ consent to said occupancy by Tenant(s).

Fireplaces: There is a gas fireplace in the living room with a timer. From May through October 1, fireplaces are closed. Do NOT Burn anything in the gas fireplaces, you will be responsible for any damage .

Weather: During winter months, we recommend 4-wheel drive vehicle and/or chains. There will be no refunds or discounts if you are unable to make it to your cabin. We recommend you obtain separate travel insurance to cover any loss and/or refunds.

Acceptance: By accepting this Agreement the Tenant(s) declares they have read, understand and agree to abide by the agreement and the Terms and Conditions as outlined. By checking the acceptance box which is required to make the reservation, you acknowledge, that even though this is an electronic acceptance, it is a legal and binding agreement.
