13 nicely decorated cocoa-brown cottages with full kitchens stand steps from the shore of shimmering Lake Florida. The resort is located 6 miles west of the resort town of Spicer in the Little Crow Lakes Area of west-central Minnesota, 95 miles west of Minneapolis/ St.Paul. Guests head straight for the beach to enjoy the free paddleboats, kayaks, hydro-bikes, sailboat, funbugs, canoe and rowboats. There are also bikes, trikes and wagons of all sizes. The bikes can be used to tour the Glacial Lakes State bike trail. Motors for the fishing boats and a pontoon are available for rent.
The Dickerson's create much of the fun for guests serving homemade doughnuts at Sunday morning mixers and hosting pizza parties, hayrides for the children and campfires for roasting marshmallows and making s'mores.
All of the cottages have a picnic table, two chairs and a deck.
