Rough Run is surrounded by mountains and wilderness views. It is located between the George Washington and Monongahela National Forests, which features Seneca Rocks and Dolly Sods Wilderness Area. South Mill is a 50 acre lake that is stocked with native fish by the state of WV. Fishing and canoing are an enjoyable activity at the lake. The South Branch of the Potomac River flows through Smoke Hole Canyon. Nature doesn't get much better than this part of WV.
