Saint John is one of the parishes of Grenada. Its capital is Gouyave. The parish with the most life and excitement. It is known locally as the action city and the place that never sleeps. Fishing is the main industry. Gouyave is is also the home of Grenadas biggest nutmeg factory and of the Dougladston Etstate and old Spice Plantation. There is almost no touism in this parish of Grenada. Only a few small guesthouse like the Mango Bay Cottages in Woodford.
