The village of Benahavis is nestled in a picturesque valley of pine forests and streams, just 10 mins from San Pedro and just 15 minutes from Marbella and the jet-set marina of Puerto Banus, with its stunning array of shops, restaurants and nightlife. The surrounding countryside is home to some of Spain´s very best golf courses, including Los Arqueros, La Quinta, Monte Mayor, Los Flamingos and Marbella Club Resort. The village of Benahavis is a superb example of a typical Spanish ´pueblo blanco´ (white village). With narrow streets, bustling plazas, a fabulous selection of restaurants, bars, 3 banks, a pharmacy, 2 small food shops, a butcher as well as art galleries and a few clothes shops. Benahavis offers a relaxed atmosphere yet with spectacular walks, tennis, swimming and a golf driving range. In addition to the golf courses, there are riding schools and beaches within easy reach.
