Kato Paphos

Kato Paphos is a seaside resort built around a medieval port and fortress and contains most of the luxury hotels and the entertainment infrastructure of the city of Paphos with an entire street dedicated to clubs, and restaurants. All of paphos is an open-air museum and the whole town has been put on Unesco's world heritage list. Spend your days exploring the historical sites and museums or, if ancient history doesn’t grab you, there is plenty to do outdoors from paragliding and sailing to jeep safaris and 3 championship golf courses. There are 11 blue flag beaches in the district of Paphos, a number of which are in Kato Paphos. The famous Coral Bay beach can easily be reached via an excellent bus service. Paphos is a children’s paradise so when the children get tired of the beach, head for the Water Park or take them go-carting. For the animal lovers there is a bird park, a snake park and aquarium. Or just fall in love where Aphrodite, the goddess of love, emerged from the waves.
