Or, in the evening, gaze at the star-studded night sky; it is never the same from moment to moment, it is always changing, and time can stand still if you let it.

Just one house off the beach, Hale Nani Villa has a partial ocean view from the ground floor rooms and full views from the second story. A gate in the backyard opens to a private right-of-way access to the beach that leads to a 2.5 mile stretch of white sand - one of the most breathtaking beaches in all of Hawaii. Swim, kite surf, windsurf, body surf, kayak, build sand castles or just relax in the sun -- Kailua beach has something for everyone.

For those who want to stay close to home, relax indoors, or sit under the shady second story lanai and watch the sunlight dance off the sparkling 42 foot long pool. At night enjoy the hot tub and turn off all the house lights to watch the twinkling stars overhead. Go to bed feeling relaxed and ready to sleep with the sound of ocean waves in the background. Kailua town center, about 3 miles from Hale Nani Villa, offers restaurants, shopping, and beach supplies for activities. Honolulu is an easy 25 minute drive and the world-famous surfing beaches of the North Shore can be reached in about one hour.
