Lancaster County, in southeastern Pennsylvania, is best known for its picturesque rolling farmlands and large population of Amish people. When planning a vacation, consider that Lancaster is also a convenient hub for visiting Gettysburg, Valley Forge, Hershey, Philadelphia, and Baltimore (each just 30 to 80 minutes from Lancaster).
