Kota Kinabalu

Kota Kinabalu, the Capital of Sabah, located on the Northern part of Borneo, is an idyllic resort town. With loads of direct international connections, it's the place where the region's eco-friendly and trendy come to party, play and rest. With the lion's share of golf courses, Kota Kinabalu can rightly be called the Golfer's Heaven. It also provides unspoiled rain forests, the region's tallest mountain and Malaysia's first World Heritage site (Mt. Kinabalu and Kinabalu Park). In addition, Kota Kinabalu is the jump point from where you can visit orang utans, dive sites like Sipidan, visit the Lost World and ancient rain forests or simply chill on the islands of the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine park. Kota Kinabalu is fast growing city, yet it retains the charm of yesteryear, where the pace is slow and the people are friendly.
