Our adorable Bungalow was selected by an Australian Travel show, called "The Great Outdoors" as their 'pick' for "alternative accommodations" in Hollywood! The show selected ONE property in six world cities, and we were their choice in LA! :-)

Location, Location, Location!

You cannot beat our location. From our darling little home, you can walk to everything "Tinsel Town" has to offer. The Hollywood Stars Bungalow is located in the heart of Hollywood, California, USA.

The Bungalow is located at the Gateway to the Hollywood Hills and the Hollywood Sign. We are near all major attractions, venues, and freeways.

We are only two blocks from Hollywood and Vine, and the "Hollywood Walk of Fame" - so take a quick stroll to Grauman's Chinese Theater, where you will find footprints of your Favorite Stars.

We are also located just three blocks from Sunset Boulevard and the World Famous Sunset Strip. We're a quick walk to the Hollywood Bowl, as well as a five to ten minute walk to the very popular Hollywood and Highland complex, home of the Kodak Theater and the Academy Awards.

We're a five-minute drive to all of Hollywood's major film studios, with and daily studio tours and show tapings. For a full day of fun, we are also just a five minute drive to City Walk and Universal Studios.

Parking in Los Angeles can be expensive, so please don't pay for parking when you don't have to! Just park your car in our driveway, and walk to all of Hollywood's major attractions.

If you are still weighing all your options ... remember, vacation rentals are a wonderful way to reduce the cost of any vacation or work trip.

Our home has a full kitchen, with china, cutlery, and all normal kitchen utensils, and of course a microwave for warming your "doggy bag treasure" from last night's trendy Los Angeles restaurant fare. So just stock our home with breakfast food, drinks, and light meals for your stay, and save a bundle in LA.

We are certain that The Hollywood Stars Bungalow will absolutely delight you and your traveling companions. With all the comforts of home (at less than hotel room prices) we do hope that you will join us at the Bungalow, and let our gorgeous little hideaway become your very cool, very affordable, LA home, away from home.

Oh, and finally, for you "history buffs" -
This little Bungalow, was one of four commissioned in 1918 by Cecil B DeMille to provide upscale "location housing" for some of Hollywood's early Royalty. According to the local historians, many of the Silent Film Stars of the 1920's like Charlie Chaplin, Richard Dix - for whom our street is named - Clara Bow, and Dorothy Gish were once temporary guests of this darling little home.

Now lovingly restored to all it's former glory - our Hollywood home offers you a fun chance to sleep where "Legends" have slept before.

We promise our bright and charming Bungalow will be one of the highlights of your trip to Los Angeles.

Rental Policy

We are open 365 days a year.
$159.00 per night, plus tax and cleaning.

Nightly rate is based on 1-4 guests.
Five or six guests are possible upon request.
There is a $20.00 charge per night (per guest) for 5th & 6th guests.
No charge for our tiny guests under 2 years. :-)

If booking MORE than 30 days in advance:
We have a 5-NIGHT MINIMUM

If booking LESS than 30 days in advance:
We have a 3-NIGHT MINIMUM

If our booking calendar allows, we can book 4 nights in advance with a $100.00 short stay fee.

Less than 4 nights, must be booked within 30 days of arrival. (if the nights are still available)

WEEKLY RATE: $1350.00 per week
Rate is for 1-4 guests, INCLUDES tax and cleaning.
A 5th or 6th guest is possible for $20.00 per night, per guest.

MONTHLY RATE: $4,000.00 - ALL INCLUSIVE.
4 GUESTS MAXIMUM

We require a 50% deposit to confirm -
With the balance due 60-days prior to arrival.

Personal Checks are preferred, but any form of check will work. We do not personally accept credit cards, but we can accept a CREDIT CARD CHECK. You can ALSO use a Credit Card VIA PayPal. (if your account allows cc payments) PayPal is an option that you can chose to pay, but PayPal fees (cash or credit) are not included in our pricing.

Other forms of payment include bank to bank transfers, electronic payments, direct deposit, and PayPal is available WITH the additional PayPal fees. PayPal is approximately 3% of the total for US residents. If you reside outside the US, there is also a $15.00 currency conversion fee.

Arrival Times

CHECK IN is at 4:00 PM **CHECK OUT is at 10:00 AM. In order to be respectful to our cleaning staff, and our other guests please note the above times, and plan your day accordingly. Thx!
