Mijas is an up market and relatively quiet resort so don't come here expecting all night discos and karaoke bars! It is an ideal location for a family holiday. Bars, restaurants and shops are on your doorstep. A wide variety of entertainment and restaurants to choose from. Andalucian traditional tapas (snacks bars) to local fish restaurants to the British Fry-up's all make Mijas a popular choice for going out to eat. Family fun activities as the Aqua Park, a trip to the zoo, historic sites, 80 min from Gibraltar. 15 min from Benalmadena. 15 min from La Cala. Fuengirola Zoo is new, at dusk they change the animals from daytime to nocturnal. An Aquapark with kamikaze slide and entertainemnets. Selwo Wild Life Park is about 50 minutes Tivoli World, is a small theme park in Benalmedena, The Crocodile Park, Dolphin World and another Aquapark are in nearby Torremolinos Golf courses are in abundance, with Miraflores, La Cala and Alhaurin & Mijas Golf only 15 mins away by car.
