There are mine tours, Lake Superior, the unique town of Copper Harbor, Fort Wilkins, Brockway Drive, Porcupine Mountains, Houghton/Hancock lift bridge, MTU-mineralogical exhibit & museum, fabulous waterfalls, golf courses, State Parks, Beaches, really neat-old train trestles, there are festivals, with parades, fireworks and activities winter and summer. An absolute must for vacationers! Something for everyone!
