Rent our spacious one-bedroom, two-bathroom fully furnished condominium with private lanai and ocean view at the Maui Banyan. New paint, colors, and decorations throughout as of March 2007!

Property Details

Our condominium features a color TV with cable (including HBO), VCR, DVD player, cordless telephone, AM/FM/CD Stereo, a new washer and dryer, air conditioner, and two ceiling fans. The fully-equipped kitchen has a fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker (and grinder), toaster, blender, mixer, rice cooker, iced tea maker, and more.

Dishes, glassware, storage containers, non-stick cookware, and utensils were all replaced recently. We have wireless high-speed (cable modem) Internet, and a computer (Mac Mini) for our guests to use. There is no charge for use of the computer or wireless Internet. There is also a stereo speaker system for your iPod or other MP3 player.

The smoke-free condo has two full bathrooms. The bedroom has a queen size bed and the living room has a brand new sleeper sofa. The lanai (and the view) is accessible through sliding glass doors from both the living room and the bedroom. The beautiful grounds include a tennis court, two swimming pools, hot tubs, and gas barbecue facilities. Of course, linens and towels (including beach towels, cooler, ice packs and other gear) are all provided for your use, as well as an assortment of games and puzzles. There are also some items for guests with small children (booster seat, plastic dishes, sand toys, kids books, etc.).

Located across from the highly-rated Maui Kamaole Beach II in beautiful South Kihei, Maui, our condo is within walking distance of groceries (including Hawaiian Moons natural & organic food), several restaurants (from quick and cheap to fine dining), coffee shops, video rentals, Lappert's Ice Cream, an Internet cafe with high speed wireless (DSL) Internet access, and much more. The Shops at Wailea, the award winning Wailea Golf Club, Makena's Little Beach, and Maui Ocean Center are just minutes away by car.

Within the Maui Banyan complex, our condo is located on the north-facing (cooler) side of the H building on the third floor. This is the same building where the Maui Banyan front desk is located, and is closer to the beach than P, Q, or T buildings. We bought this condo after renting a couple of different Maui Banyan condos (including this one).

We looked at several other complexes in and around Kihei but liked the (newer and all concrete) Maui Banyan the best. Our condo is very convenient to the pool/barbecue area, the parking structure, the beach, and nearby shops. Although we usually take the stairs, our building has an elevator too.

We visit our condo every year to buy or replace things as needed and/or requested by our guests. We hope you'll enjoy staying in our "home away from home" as much as we do, and consider joining our growing list of repeat guests.

Arrival Times

Check-in time is 2pm. Check-out is 10am. Late check-in is no problem. Late check-out is available.

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

Please add 11.416% for Hawaii State Transient Accommodations Tax.
$100 cleaning fee for rentals less than seven nights.
3 nights deposit required within 14 days of confirmation.
Full payment is due 30 days prior to arrival.
All bookings subject to $25 reservation fee.
