Vancouver Island is the largest Island on the Pacific coast of North America, and is the one most frequently visited by tourists. It has a moderate climate, and Victoria our quaint Capitol city is renowned for its early flowers and British charm.
Vancouver Island has a multitude of attractions, long sandy beaches, complete with surfers on the rugged Pacific West coast, warmer swimming beaches on the East coast and many lakes and rivers.
Wildlife viewing is unsurpassed, from deer, elk, black bears and bald eagles along the highways to the amazing Killer Whales in the Gulf of Georgia and Johnson Strait, and Grey whales off the West Coast.
Salmon fishing is fabulous most of the year, but is at its peak in July and August with many fishermen heading to Campbell River or the West coast.
We have a lot to offer tourists, country markets, antique stores, craft shops, and in Victoria and Nanaimo, and other larger towns, shopping centres, Casinos, night-clubs, and many fine restaurants.
