Kealakekua is in the heart of the Kona coffee district and is also known for its snorkeling, kayaking, and swimming with dolphins and turtles. Kailua-Kona (aka "town") is 20 minutes north. Shopping, eating, hiking, and sight seeing tours are available in town.

Volcano National Park is located an hour and a half south. The Kohala Coast known for its world class sandy beaches and sunshine is located an hour north.

A 50% deposit is required upon confirmation of room availability to hold your booking. Refunds will be given, less a $15 processing fee, if cancellation is made 30 days prior to arrival date. Balance due upon arrival.

A big warm Aloha from Hawaii! Keith, Mary, and Banyan would like to welcome you to Kealakekua on the Big Island of Hawaii. Upon visiting Hawaii over several years, we fell in love with the islands. In an effort to live a more simple and peaceful life, we moved from the San Francisco Bay Area to the Big Island two years ago. Keith is a Naturalist Guide for Hawaii Forest & Trail. Formally at the University of Hawaii, Mary has started her own business. We hope that you will visit us and experience the Big Island - local style.
