Air Tours Over Scottsdale, Arizona

Now, tourists considering an Arizona vacation have one more reason to make Scottsdale vacation rentals their home base. Sky Treks, an air tour company operating out of Scottsdale Airport, provides tour packages and independent air tours to a variety of locations in this and other states in the Southwest. Visitors who wish to use the service can enjoy their panoramic air tour with confidence, since Sky Treks has been certified by the Federal Aviation Administration as a qualified 135 air carrier.

Safety is an important consideration when considering a vacation activity such as an air tour, but it is just as important to choose a carrier that provides a comfortable and informative experience. In this respect, Sky Treks excels. All of the aircraft they fly are high-wing Cessnas. These provide tourists with views that are unobstructed so they can soak in the sights of the desert landscape. Neither is the pilot merely a pilot. Instead, he also serves as a tour guide, narrating over an intercom system so guests can enjoy learning a bit of natural history as they view the land below.

Tour destinations include Sedona, the Grand Canyon, and Monument Valley, as well as other sites of interest in the south-western United States. Monument Valley will appear familiar to anyone who watched Saturday morning cartoons as a child; the adventures of the Road Runner and his nemesis, Wile E. Coyote took place every week among the magnificent plateaus and mesas here. By taking advantage of services like those provided by Sky Treks, tourists can see the real version of that familiar cartoon landscape.
